Hello everyone, this is the first video of a series that I’ll be releasing throughout the year. In this video we are going to talk about the Sun ingress into Aquarius from the point of view of Astrology and Astrosophy.

The golden colors of fall begin to turn into blood red tints. The senses get blurry as the first fogs of the season cloak us in their hug. Nature lets itself go, melancholy surrendering as it enters the heart of autumn.
The Soul of the World—Persephone—is about to cross the threshold of the Hades. All life around is inviting us to turn on a little flame inside of us, a lantern with which confronting the upcoming night of the year.
Stepping into Scorpio, the Sun shines with a supernatural light. Sol luce supernaturali refulget. It’s the spiritual light of the Ancient Sun, the stage of development of the solar system when—according to Anthroposophy—life itself was born.
We can clearly feel the Sun crossing the threshold of the spiritual world. As they say, the veil gets thinner as we approach Samhain, or Halloween—all saints’ eve. And we can get in touch more easily with our beloved departed.
The lantern, the inner light we are invited to turn on inside, can also be the light of thoughts we can offer them through prayer. Dead and alive, we are all connected, and helping them also helps us back in return.

The Sun is about to reach its maximum peak, as the shadows at noon are getting shorter and shorter. The Soul of the World soars towards the cosmos, abandoning itself to the heights of the stellar worlds. Human senses become more powerful as light and heat penetrate deeper and deeper into our bodies. Besieged by the summer, consciousness surrenders to a sweet numbness.
The heat makes us feel attracted to the sea and its refreshment. Fire calls Water, Gold calls Silver. Out in the world, the alchemy of nature takes place, working in secret on the union of opposites. At the Summer Solstice, matter becomes subtle and turns into spirit—into the thinnest ethers. And with our participation, human vices are transformed into virtues.
But what does all this have to do with the sign of Cancer? And what is the relationship between this water sign and the summer heat? In this article we are going to talk about it in relation to the Virtue of the Zodiac given by Rudolf Steiner: Unselfishness becomes Catharsis.

When the Sun enters Gemini sunlight becomes the undisputed protagonist of the season. In the previous air sign of Aquarius, we experience the dawn of the year, celebrated at Imbolc or Candlemas. There, the pale white light of winter breaks through the expanses of snow and ice.
Gemini instead announces the return of the light in all its power and glory, leading us little by little towards the summer. The sunlight begins to hurt the gaze here, or at least that’s what usually happens.
Here in Europe, we are living a kind of second autumn. Temperatures are still very low, and when the sun pierces through the rainy clouds it feels like having an epiphany of sort. They all complain about the weather, that’s able to change the mood even to not weather-affected people. We all need more sunlight, we all want spring to come back.
A lot of things are happening during the Sun’s stay in Gemini. As we discussed in previous articles, Jupiter has recently entered Pisces. On top of that we are already in the shadow zone of the second Mercury Retrograde period of the year, happening right in Gemini. And lastly Eclipses first season is going to open with a Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, taking place on May 26th during Vesak, a Buddhist festival.
In this article we are going to continue our journey through the Virtues of the Zodiac as described by Rudolf Steiner, talking about the qualities of Gemini.

The light is back. The warmth of the sun on the face announces that we are slowly getting out of winter. The sky becomes more and more unstable as we approach March. And as we wait for its spring rains, the seed of the new year is being prepared under the sign of Pisces.
Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac. While for us the new year starts in January, it is with the arrival of spring that the new astrological year begins. For this reason, Pisces is a sign full of nostalgia. And its unstable energies carry us from one season to the other.
A lot of things are happening. Mercury retrograde, a stellium in Aquarius, and the Saturn Uranus Square perfecting. Let’s take a break from all of this, focusing on the spiritual virtue of this month: Magnanimity becomes Love.
As you may know, for some months now I’ve been accompanying the entry of the Sun in the signs, talking about the corresponding zodiacal virtue indicated by Rudolf Steiner. This allows us to connect Astrology to a more intimate and spiritual level, trying to transcend the astral sphere in favor of a more spiritual approach.
In this post we are also going to talk about the way this month the sky is reflecting these virtues, focusing in particular on a specific conjunction taking place in Pisces on March 13th.
Magnanimity becomes Love
Love is not necessarily romantic, neither concerns eroticism at all costs. Making this distinction is very important, and Astrology can help us in this regard. In astrological terms in fact we say that the Sun is not Venus, being the type of love they express very different.
