The Voice of the New Moon in Sagittarius 2016

Reading Time : 3 minutes

Each new moon occurs in darkness—like a seed sprouting underground. The doors of the skies are opened and new astral forces can penetrate into the orbit of the earth. Every month this process happens under the auspices of a zodiac sign, which leaves its mark on these energies.

The New Moon in Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. As we know, the great benefic is located for months in Libra, where he embraces the role of bearer of justice—the archetype of the Good Magistrate. But what is the cause he is pursuing? What is triggering his attention?

This month we are assisting to a T-square (2 squares and 1 opposition) configuration between Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus. Pluto square Uranus is the great, slow aspect mainly involved in the financial crisis of 2007, and the astral cause behind all its consequences we are still witnessing.

In fact Pluto in Capricorn represents the elites of occult powers (financial groups, banks, etc.), whereas Uranus in Aries ruled the rising rebellion of people around the world demanding equal rights. Just think about all movements born under these omens such as Occupy Wall Street and the Arab Spring.

Now, this aspect is getting more and more loose and its influence is gradually weakening. Still, we have to wait until May 2018—entrance of Uranus in Taurus—to bring this never-ending story to a conclusion. However, Jupiter’s transit is an important milestone in this process. Let’s check it out.

Jupiter closing the T-Square

We have already talked about Pluto square Uranus. Let’s see now the remaining aspects which complete the T-Square configuration: Jupiter opposite Uranus and Jupiter square Pluto.

  • Jupiter opposite Uranus: the opposition occurs on the Aries-Libra axis. These signs are confronting each other on many different levels: thinking against action, compromises against unilateralism, harmony against struggle. Just think of this opposition as a wise person (Jupiter)—looking for a just compromise—versus a insurrectionist fanatic (Uranus) who is tired, and just wants to take justice into his own hands.
  • Jupiter square Pluto: in this historical period the elite groups of occult powers (Pluto in Capricorn) are more than ever exposed. They know they can do anything they want—as they always have—but in the last decade the bearer of light (Uranus) has clearly revealed the strings they are pulling. Jupiter square Pluto is going to put this issue to trial.

Please consider that this is a slow transit that is going to accompany us for several months. Jupiter opposite Uranus is going to be perfect on December 27th 2016 and again on March 3rd 2017 due to combined retrograde motions. It will finally end only with Jupiter’s entrance in Scorpio on October 2017 (but only as a dissociate aspect).

The easing role of Saturn

Saturn is forming a sextile with Jupiter and a trine with Uranus: it is basically getting in the way of the opposition, trying to soothe the tension between them.

You can think of Saturn in Sagittarius as on old priest, a bigoted moralist which always wants to appear politically correct. As you can imagine this kind of energy is very judgmental, and being the Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter we can expect Saturn to mainly assist him in his role.

This configuration is very interesting and we are definitely going to analyze it further in future articles. How is this going to turn out? Has the election of Donald Trump anything to do with that? Is he really going to stand on people’s side?

If you follow me on Facebook you may have noticed my post about Pluto conjunct Venus. This lunar cycle features this aspect, which is dangerous especially for women’s safety. In fact the archetype regarding this conjunction refers to the myth of the rape of Proserpina.

Hence, we are joining the message of the United Nations to raise awareness on this issue that US elections seem to have weakened, all over the world.

The Voice of the New Moon in Scorpio 2016

Reading Time : 2 minutes

Each new moon occurs in darkness—like a seed sprouting underground. The doors of the skies are opened and new astral forces can penetrate into the orbit of the earth. Every month this process happens under the auspices of a zodiac sign, which leaves its mark on these energies.

A Black Moon in the sign of Scorpio, taking place on the via combusta—the cursed road of the Zodiac. A powerful image which does not bode well. It reminds me that kind of fear you have by night on your way home crossing a dangerous place. Dangerous and unpredictable. The applying trine of the Moon with Neptune gives this feeling a touch of drama and chaos, while imagination fills the shadows creating monsters—lurking in the darkness.

Sometimes this monsters are real, sometimes it’s all in your head. But the sextile between this Moon and a strong Mars—in exaltation in Capricorn—suggests that this time monsters are real. They do take advantage of the situation and are able to strike mercilessly.

So, how do you feel right now? Are you ready to give the coup de grace? Or are you rather frightened on your way home, trying to cross the woods safely? To me this seems to be the perfect night to hunt, and honestly I wouldn’t be in the shoes of the prey.

This creepy scenario is toned down by the mutual reception of the benefics: Venus in Sagittarius—conjunct Saturn—sextile Jupiter in Libra. This image talks about justice and righteousness which are emphatically pursued with a sence of urgency (Venus and Saturn trine Uranus). It’s almost like they were saying: we must do something about this prey in danger—it’s not right!

The prey, the predator and the rescuer. [ictt-tweet-inline]The whole picture reminds me the perfect triangle of victimism[/ictt-tweet-inline]. What do you think about it? Is this somehow resonating with you? Sometimes we feel like we must do something—that we have to save them. Personally, I believe we can just offer—not impose—our help because in the end they can be saved only by themselves.

Facing Powerlessness

Powerlessness is something very difficult to accept. Whether you are putting yourself in the role of the victim or the rescuer, the truth is that sometimes you just can’t do anything about it. If you could have done something, you wouldn’t be a victim; if you really believe you can save someone, well… in my opinion you are going to face frustration. [ictt-tweet-inline]No one can save anyone[/ictt-tweet-inline].

Just take for example what happened to my partner two weeks ago. When things like that happen there’s nothing you can do about it. You just have to rely on doctors and wait. Obviously, I’m helping him in all possible ways—I’m there for him. But I know that I can’t send his pain away, and yes—this makes me feel powerless. And it’s ok.

The hardest part to accept comes from the awareness that [ictt-tweet-inline]everybody is alone in their pain[/ictt-tweet-inline]. We are all in our own way challenged by life so you just can’t expect to deny the experience of pain to anyone—not even your children. You can only be there for them whenever they need—reaching them out with both open hand and heart.

The Voice of the New Moon in Libra 2016

Reading Time : 2 minutes

Each new moon occurs in darkness—like a seed sprouting underground. The doors of the skies are opened and new astral forces can penetrate into the orbit of the earth. Every month this process happens under the auspices of a zodiac sign, which leaves its mark on these energies.

As always, October is influenced by the forces of Libra which carries balance, harmony and beauty. As the moon reaches the Sun it is impregnated of his vitality, ready to dispense it to all the zodiac on its monthly cycle.

The Lady of the forces of Libra is Venus—the Goddess of all beauty and mother of every contentment. I watch her transiting in Scorpio, thinking about how [ictt-tweet-inline]Nature is able to be so beautiful—even while it’s dying[/ictt-tweet-inline]. You can almost feel it in the taste of red grape berries, harvested to be pulped and turned into wine—it really looks like blood.

As Nature begins to transform its vital forces, the world of men is inspired by Jupiter through a renewed sense of justice. I can see him battling in the sky with Mars which—in Capricorn—becomes the bearer of all individualistic actions. It’s like an epic fight between two opposite forces: sense of belonging to a just society versus personal gain.

We have all experienced this struggle. And it would be too easy to label Mars as the bad guy: sometimes the best choice is to do whatever is right for you regardless of anyone else—especially when it comes to survival. But we know that [ictt-tweet-inline]surviving isn’t living, and in the end we all need a place to belong[/ictt-tweet-inline]. It really depends on where you are right now in your life.

And you? Which side are you on?

Personally, I feel like I am in the middle. Mostly I am focused on myself and my personal gain, but I try to always look at other people’s perspective. I don’t like to mistreat others or be disrespectful, but I am still at the center of my little world. And when I say little, I really mean it because in the end [ictt-tweet-inline]when you filter reality through a single point of view your experience can only be restricted[/ictt-tweet-inline].
