Cardinal T-Square — Donald Trump’s Inauguration Speech

Reading Time : 3 minutes

We have already described the nature of the Cardinal T-Square that has been active since last November. This dynamic—and unstable—configuration involves Jupiter in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries. Its main effect is most likely going to manifest as a an impulse toward justice. Still, the energies involved are so powerful and unpredictable that it’s too soon to pronounce on the outcome. However, something is already moving.

Donald Trump’s Inauguration Speech

When we deal with such big energies we also need to pay attention to the world of politics since it is able to determine events on a global scale. If we take a closer look to Donald Trump’s Inauguration Speech we are definitely going to find several tracks of this jupiterian force, getting in the way of the Pluto-Uranus square.

First of all, he seems to stand for the people, taking basically the parts of Uranus in Aries:

Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people.

And he is also definitely confronting Pluto in Capricorn, by saying:

For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

[…] What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

This is clearly the manifestation of Pluto square Uranus: the elite power groups versus the “revolution from below”, demanding equal rights and social justice.

We need to realize that in this speech Trump does not consider himself part of the political class. He is introducing himself as a third force, which promises to restore the broken balance of justice (Jupiter in Libra, indeed).

But we also need to understand that by doing so he is—at the same time—weakening the irrational impulse of Uranus in Aries. That impulse which in my opinion would otherwise explode as a violent public demonstration, leading the country towards a sort of civil class war. We could say that this irrationality has already been expressed in the outcome of the election per se. No matter how you put it: it is little reasonable to vote for a man who destroyed the very concept of political correctness.

Protectionist Policies

Trump stated that he is basically going to follow a protectionist policy, which is going to weaken the financial elite:

For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries, while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military. We’ve defended other nations’ borders while refusing to defend our own.

And spent trillions and trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay. We’ve made other countries rich, while the wealth, strength and confidence of our country has dissipated over the horizon.

One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions and millions of American workers that were left behind. The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed all across the world.

As a matter of fact, last December he promised a 35% tax on products sold in the US by any business that fired American workers, and built a factory elsewhere.

In Conclusion

As we stated above it is still too early to understand how the T-Square is going to end. But I find very interesting the way the collective unconscious is playing the game, putting such a controversial political figure in charge of a delicate process of transformation.

Still, we have to assume that he is possibly lying. That in the end he is going to be just another puppet of that establishment he doesn’t want to be a part of. We’ll see how the situation evolves, until then thanks for reading and have a good week.

Venus in Aquarius: Free Love and Poliamory

Reading Time : 3 minutes

Yesterday, Venus entered Aquarius. This transit is all about Love and Freedom: two topics that I hold dearly, especially when they go hand in hand. There are many ways you can combine these concepts. To name a few: freedom of love, loving someone unconditionally, being free by loving what you do, and so on.

As a gay man, the most important in my life has obviously been freedom of love. As you may know I’m Italian, and my country has approved a law for same-sex civil unions only this year. Alas, we are far behind many European countries when it comes to civil rights for the LGBTQ community. Just consider for example that Spain introduced same sex marriage ten years (!) ago.

We still have much to do to fight homophobia in this country. For most of the people freedom of love comes free—they take it for granted—but for us it still has a price.

For example, in Italy is quite rare to see same-sex couples walking hand in hand on the street—even in big cities. It may seem an insignificant detail, but freedom is also expressed through small, spontaneous gestures. Most of us still feel uncomfortable to do so.

That’s why this law has been a revolution for us, perfectly attuned with the energies of [ictt-tweet-inline]freedom and progress flowing from the Aquarius[/ictt-tweet-inline].

Free Love and Poliamory

Regarding love and progress, have you ever heard of Polyamory? It is the modern reinterpretation of the free love concept of the 60s-70s. According to wikipedia:

Polyamory (from Greek πολύ poly, “many, several”, and Latin amor, “love”) is the practice of, or desire for, intimate relationships where individuals may have more than one partner, with the knowledge and consent of all partners. It has been described as “consensual, ethical, and responsible non-monogamy”.

What do you think about it? Personally I think that the idea behind polyamory is perfectly understandable, so I don’t have any problem with that. Nevertheless, I have to say that in my opinion it requires a high level of personal development—on both sides—to be put it into practice in a honest way.

Let’s face it: [ictt-tweet-inline]people have the tendency to hide their weakness behind high ideals[/ictt-tweet-inline]. Poliamory could just be one of them. And I’m not saying that all people embracing this lifestyle are lying to themselves. I’m saying that sometimes people don’t want to face what’s wrong in their relationship, so they label it in a fancy way pretending that everything’s alright.

So, is monogamy over? I don’t think so. I think we are going towards a motley society made—as a mosaic—by pieces of many colors. But I think Monogamy is more likely going to remain the main one. This because monogamous relationships are already hard—imagine how complex they could be just introducing a third person! You definitely need more than a good reason to do so.

And please don’t think that if you have Venus in Aquarius in your Natal Chart you can’t be monogamous! It just means that you love progress and modernity, and your relationship is going to reflect that, somehow. On top of that, you also need to put in the equation at least your fifth, seventh and eighth house to get the whole picture.

The Voice of the New Moon in Sagittarius 2016

Reading Time : 3 minutes

Each new moon occurs in darkness—like a seed sprouting underground. The doors of the skies are opened and new astral forces can penetrate into the orbit of the earth. Every month this process happens under the auspices of a zodiac sign, which leaves its mark on these energies.

The New Moon in Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. As we know, the great benefic is located for months in Libra, where he embraces the role of bearer of justice—the archetype of the Good Magistrate. But what is the cause he is pursuing? What is triggering his attention?

This month we are assisting to a T-square (2 squares and 1 opposition) configuration between Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus. Pluto square Uranus is the great, slow aspect mainly involved in the financial crisis of 2007, and the astral cause behind all its consequences we are still witnessing.

In fact Pluto in Capricorn represents the elites of occult powers (financial groups, banks, etc.), whereas Uranus in Aries ruled the rising rebellion of people around the world demanding equal rights. Just think about all movements born under these omens such as Occupy Wall Street and the Arab Spring.

Now, this aspect is getting more and more loose and its influence is gradually weakening. Still, we have to wait until May 2018—entrance of Uranus in Taurus—to bring this never-ending story to a conclusion. However, Jupiter’s transit is an important milestone in this process. Let’s check it out.

Jupiter closing the T-Square

We have already talked about Pluto square Uranus. Let’s see now the remaining aspects which complete the T-Square configuration: Jupiter opposite Uranus and Jupiter square Pluto.

  • Jupiter opposite Uranus: the opposition occurs on the Aries-Libra axis. These signs are confronting each other on many different levels: thinking against action, compromises against unilateralism, harmony against struggle. Just think of this opposition as a wise person (Jupiter)—looking for a just compromise—versus a insurrectionist fanatic (Uranus) who is tired, and just wants to take justice into his own hands.
  • Jupiter square Pluto: in this historical period the elite groups of occult powers (Pluto in Capricorn) are more than ever exposed. They know they can do anything they want—as they always have—but in the last decade the bearer of light (Uranus) has clearly revealed the strings they are pulling. Jupiter square Pluto is going to put this issue to trial.

Please consider that this is a slow transit that is going to accompany us for several months. Jupiter opposite Uranus is going to be perfect on December 27th 2016 and again on March 3rd 2017 due to combined retrograde motions. It will finally end only with Jupiter’s entrance in Scorpio on October 2017 (but only as a dissociate aspect).

The easing role of Saturn

Saturn is forming a sextile with Jupiter and a trine with Uranus: it is basically getting in the way of the opposition, trying to soothe the tension between them.

You can think of Saturn in Sagittarius as on old priest, a bigoted moralist which always wants to appear politically correct. As you can imagine this kind of energy is very judgmental, and being the Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter we can expect Saturn to mainly assist him in his role.

This configuration is very interesting and we are definitely going to analyze it further in future articles. How is this going to turn out? Has the election of Donald Trump anything to do with that? Is he really going to stand on people’s side?

If you follow me on Facebook you may have noticed my post about Pluto conjunct Venus. This lunar cycle features this aspect, which is dangerous especially for women’s safety. In fact the archetype regarding this conjunction refers to the myth of the rape of Proserpina.

Hence, we are joining the message of the United Nations to raise awareness on this issue that US elections seem to have weakened, all over the world.

The Voice of the New Moon in Libra 2016

Reading Time : 2 minutes

Each new moon occurs in darkness—like a seed sprouting underground. The doors of the skies are opened and new astral forces can penetrate into the orbit of the earth. Every month this process happens under the auspices of a zodiac sign, which leaves its mark on these energies.

As always, October is influenced by the forces of Libra which carries balance, harmony and beauty. As the moon reaches the Sun it is impregnated of his vitality, ready to dispense it to all the zodiac on its monthly cycle.

The Lady of the forces of Libra is Venus—the Goddess of all beauty and mother of every contentment. I watch her transiting in Scorpio, thinking about how [ictt-tweet-inline]Nature is able to be so beautiful—even while it’s dying[/ictt-tweet-inline]. You can almost feel it in the taste of red grape berries, harvested to be pulped and turned into wine—it really looks like blood.

uva

As Nature begins to transform its vital forces, the world of men is inspired by Jupiter through a renewed sense of justice. I can see him battling in the sky with Mars which—in Capricorn—becomes the bearer of all individualistic actions. It’s like an epic fight between two opposite forces: sense of belonging to a just society versus personal gain.

We have all experienced this struggle. And it would be too easy to label Mars as the bad guy: sometimes the best choice is to do whatever is right for you regardless of anyone else—especially when it comes to survival. But we know that [ictt-tweet-inline]surviving isn’t living, and in the end we all need a place to belong[/ictt-tweet-inline]. It really depends on where you are right now in your life.

And you? Which side are you on?

Personally, I feel like I am in the middle. Mostly I am focused on myself and my personal gain, but I try to always look at other people’s perspective. I don’t like to mistreat others or be disrespectful, but I am still at the center of my little world. And when I say little, I really mean it because in the end [ictt-tweet-inline]when you filter reality through a single point of view your experience can only be restricted[/ictt-tweet-inline].
