From Astrology to Astrosophy — The 7 Planetary Spheres

After the 12-session journey that took us through the sidereal spaces of the constellations, we continue with the exploration of the 7 Planetary Spheres of our solar system.

This journey will allow us to discover the connection between the ancient understanding of the Spiritual World, described by the Astrological tradition, and the modern perspective of Astrosophy. Astrosophy is a discipline that emerged from Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy, which was developed through the modern achievements of Spiritual Science and the tireless work of Willi Sucher.

What does the Spiritual World consist of? How can we conceive the Astral World? By relating the planetary spheres to the descriptions of these worlds, we will be able to form a coherent picture of the subtle realities that constantly permeate us.

Through the insights of Anthroposophy, the ancient meanings of the planets handed down by the astrological tradition will take on a deeper significance. We will not only relate the planetary spheres to the different evolutionary stages of our solar system, but we will also connect their qualities to the Spiritual Hierarchies—the deities of the ancient world—and to their creative work.

In this journey:

• We will build together a comprehensive map of the Soul World and the Spiritual World to help us navigate them;
• We will become acquainted with the Spiritual Hierarchies belonging to the different Celestial Spheres, so that we can understand the occult qualities underlying the astrological force of each planet;
• We will understand how the human being, as a Microcosm, is a miniature version of the Macrocosm;
• We will explore the correspondence between the Spiritual Worlds, the members of the human being, and the microcosmic reflections of the planetary spheres in the human body (Chakras);
• We will compare the planetary qualities as described by Astrology with those indicated by Spiritual Science;
• We will understand the relationship between each individual planetary sphere and the evolution of the Solar System.

It is not necessary to have attended the sessions on the constellations in order to participate.

As an Astrologer and Anthroposopher, this journey is the result of a spiritual quest that has led me to develop Astrology organically into Astrosophy, allowing Astrosophy to emerge naturally from Astrology. In a spirit of ongoing research and study, we seek to avoid any one-sided approach to this fascinating and complex subject.

Who Is It For?

This journey is intended for anyone with a keen interest in Astrology and Anthroposophy. In particular, it is intended for Anthroposophers, Astrologers, and students of Astrology who wish to expand their astrological knowledge from the perspective of modern Spiritual Science.

Anthroposophers will have the opportunity to systematize their knowledge of the Spiritual World within an organic framework, taking the cosmos and the planetary spheres as a model or “map” of the realities described by Anthroposophy.

Moreover, those who identify as Platonic Souls will find the material presented here particularly resonant, as it is spiritually connected to the Neoplatonic Hermetic current.

For Astrology enthusiasts, this journey offers the opportunity to reconnect their practice and understanding of this art with the spiritual wisdom of Anthroposophy, which is an earthly reflection of the stellar wisdom emanating from the Spiritual Hierarchies.

Finally, Astrosophy, through Anthroposophy, makes it possible to reconnect Astrology with the Mysteries—the authentic occult sources of esoteric astrological knowledge.

How do the meetings take place?

Each meeting lasts 90 minutes and takes place online via Zoom. You will receive a link by email to join.

Please note that these are live online meetings, not a video or correspondence course. Online participation is therefore required. However, recordings will be made available the day after the meeting.
